The Dragonfly started as an original acrylic painting on reclaimed material by Central Michigan artist Zach Maatman. A dragonfly spreads wings of sage-green acanthus across a large reclaimed panel, its long body running down through a pink arch into a field of dotted medallions. Among the oldest flying insects on Earth and a summer fixture over Michigan’s ponds and marshes, it’s treated here as something close to sacred. The full painting is printed on the front of this hoodie. The original has already found a home. This is how you wear it.
